HUB Gallery is a 'Work for the Dole' ( WFTD ) run gallery space located in Geelong - Australia. Funded by GATE - Geelong Adult Training and Education, the gallery is open for proposals by practicing artists and groups with a focus on contemporary art practices. Open to the general public a minimum of four days a week the participants gain experience in the day to day running of a professional gallery space, opportunity to exhibit and the chance to share the experience of outside professional artists. As well as the gallery the complex has a Photographic darkroom and studio facilities home to Flash Point - photographic project (WFTD) and a fully functioning office facility that is also the shared home of the Geelong Arts Alliance, Geelong's premier arts council. Located within the Geelong CBD access is also available within walking distance to the Gordon Institute, Deakin University, Geelong Art Gallery, Art Suppliers and just minutes to Geelong's growing arts precinct. Exhibitions run on a two week schedule and a quick turn around offers a lively and varied experience for all involved.
